BMW has launched the sixth generation BMW 5 Series saloon on the South African Market. The model range encompasses six offerings, including two diesels, a trio of petrol straight-sixes and a turbocharged V8. The price list and basic technical specifications are as follows:

Visually an improvement on its predecessor but still lacks presence, particularly from the front.

The final proof of a BMW is in driving it and I am sure this one will not disapoint.

Seems more evolutionary... Flat bonnet and wider stance looks directed at the A5. Nothing really says wow, but does look a complete vehicle. Still hope for a little more on the interior side, but should work. Thumbs up.
