The new Renault Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet is the sixth body type within the model range rounding off the renewal of the Renault Mégane family.
Among the new car's features are:
- An unruffled open-top motoring experience thanks to the more forward-placed windscreen and fixed glass wind deflector behind the rear head restraints,
- A stiffened chassis and a new electric power steering system, that Renault claims will improve the handling dynamics; traditionally a weak point for most CC cars.
- A broad choice of engines, including: Three petrols (1,6 16-valve 82 kW engine mated with a six-speed manual gearbox, the 97 kW TCe 130 (Turbo Control efficiency) with a six-speed manual gearbox, and the 2,0 16-valve engine developing 104 kW available with CVT. Diesel units comprise three dCi units developing 82, 104 and 119 kW, the first of which will be offered with the company's new EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) transmission or to a manual six-speed gearbox.
- Renault claims to have paid special attention to quality, including high-gloss black and satin-effect chrome exterior features.
