In the January 2012 issue of CAR, you are privvy to many highlights from the 2012 CAR Shootout, but some of the most memorable moments are those that didn't make it to print.

We were most overwhelmed by the response of the locals from the small towns that we stopped at along the way. People showed up in droves to oogle the hot machinery that we had brought along with us.
