Yesterday Ferrari released the first – eagerly awaited – details of its new production car, dubbed the F12 Berlinetta, its fastest car yet. In case you missed the details, the 6,3-litre V12 engine develops 544 kW and boasts 690 N.m of torque. Ferrari claims a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of only 3,1 seconds while top speed is said to be “over 340 km/h”. For more details, please follow this link.
It is no secret that Ferrari likes to use its past and present Formula One racing drivers (well, perhaps Michael had fallen out of favour lately) to help with the setup and development of its production cars, and in the case of the new F12 Berlinetta they turned to their current driver duo.
Although the video doesn’t really offer a lot of information regarding Felipe Massa’s or Fernando Alonso’s thoughts on the car (as the two also mostly repeat each others’ thoughts) one is still fortunately able to hear the V12 engine at full throttle.
