Jack Olsen is officially our new hero!
Not only has Oslen built himself what must surely be the ultimate man cave, but he gets to park one of the finest examples of one of the finest automobiles in the world within in.
As a special project Oslen sought to create a car that he could not only successfully race, but also drive to and from the track, while stopping at the grocery store en route. The end product, nicknamed Black Beauty II, is a Porsche 911 that features the lightweight body from a 1972 RSR, the transaxle from a 1977 911, the brakes from a 1986 Turbo, and the engine from a 1995 Carrera. Featuring around 200 kW the car only weighs just 1 088 kg.
“If you stop thinking about what you’re doing, it will remind you in very abrupt ways,” explains the cars owner.
Watch as Olsen takes us on a tour of his “modest” garage, and makes us fall in love with the Black Beauty II.
