For the first time in South Africa will you be able to fill up with 10 ppm (10 parts per million) diesel – Sasol has just launched its turbodiesel ULS 10 ppm. This fuel is guaranteed to contain less than 10 ppm sulphur content and allows modern turbodiesel powertrains with complex after treatment systems to perform at optimum levels.
Sasol has not only lowered the sulphur content in its new 10 ppm diesel, but also added an improved detergency package. This prevents or removes deposit build-up in the engine and fuel systems to provide optimum performance and efficiency over the lifetime of the engine.
Mohamed Carrim, retail manager at Sasol Oil said at the launch: “We are continuously looking for ways to enhance our products to enable the latest technology vehicles to be introduced in South Africa and ultimately benefit the general consumer. It is indeed a huge milestone for Sasol and South Africa”.
Sasol turbodiesel ULS 10 ppm is now available at 78 forecourts in Gauteng and Mpumalanga. The product will be selectively rolled-out to the other areas in 2014 and 2015.
