The Australian V8 Supercar series is well-known for its close racing. Large fields of evenly-matched machines are always fighting hard at close quarters.
At this last weekend’s race a 20-year rookie Scott McLaughlin in a Volvo raced five-time series champ Jamie Whincup in a Holden bumper-to-bumper and mirror-to-mirror without resorting to dirty tactics. The best part is, it wasn’t even for the win. You can watch the youngsters post-race interview here, but mind the language.
