Porsche has officially announced that it will return to Le Mans in 2014. The Stuttgart-based company will be expecting to add to their 16 overall victories, the last of which was in 1998, with its latest LMP1 sports prototype race car. With Porsche already successfully running hybrid technology programmes, including the 911 GT3 R Hybrid, expect the new Le Mans racer to feature the latest examples of this technology when it takes to the track in 2014.
