German site autobild are reporting that the fourth, and smallest yet, model in Audi’s Q range is due to be launched in 2016.
First hinted at via the Crosslane Coupe Concept (pictured) at the 2012 Paris motor show, and likely to be based on the same platform as the Volkswagen Polo, the Audi Q1 is set to measure 3,8-meters in length (585 mm shorter than the current Q3) and feature a “generous ground clearance.” Despite this it is unlikely that an all-wheel drive version will be offered.
Although unconfirmed, expect a range of engines to include both a 1,4-litre TFSI and 1,4 TDI option.
