Images of the new Audi Q7 have leaked onto the ‘web ahead of its official unveiling at the Detroit Motor Show.
Although the styling changes are evolutionary, the new Q7 is underpinned by an all-new platform and will reportedly weigh around 300 kg less than its predecessor.
Much like the new TT, which will arrive in SA next year, the new Q7’s styling incorporates crisper lines and a wider take on the signature single-frame grille which is framed by LED-detailed headlamps. The rear is even more conservative than the front, with squared-off brakelamps and a more sculpted rear bumper being the most noticeable changes.
Inside, Audi has employed the firms new TFT instrument cluster incorporating virtual dials.
Details regarding drivetrain and powerplant options will be revealed closer to its official unveiling in Detroit.
