It seems Jaguar Land Rover will put some added focus on its off-road vehicles. According to USA magazine Car & Driver, Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations’ managing director confirmed that the company will launch a series of off-road focused SVX variants.
Just as a reminder, the highly tuned road cars from JLR are referred to as SVR models.
These specialised off-road versions are apparently planned to be launched rather sooner than later. The cars will also form part of other off-road capable SVR models such as the Range Rover Sport SVR and the super luxurious Range Rover SVAutobiography.
It is unclear which models will receive the SVX treatment, but it would be safe to assume that it could be the new Discovery Sport as well as the upcoming Defender.
