We know that Ferrari is working on an even more extreme version of the LaFerrari.
Likely to be called the LaFerrari FXX, or simply XX, it will pack more power, be lighter and offer more track-oriented aerodynamics than the standard car.
A test mule was originally spotted being tested at the ‘Ring, but this latest clip shows another test mule lapping the Paul Ricard circuit in France.
From this video it is quite clear that the mule has a larger, rear fixed wing attached to it. Also, close your eyes, and you could be excused for mistaking the engine sound for a Formula 1 car!
As this will be a track-only car, expect the 6,3-litre V12 engine to be tweeked, while the electric motors will also supply additional power and torque.
No official word from Ferrari on the XX yet, but we can expect to see the official unveiling during the first quarter of 2015.
