Maserati is 100 years old (founded in Bologna in 1914) and to celebrate this milestone it is launching two special editions: the GranTurismo MC Stradale and MC GranCabrio. The good news is that South Africa is included in the exclusive allocation of the centennial models and they will arrive in the third quarter of this year.
The bad news is that you will have to be quick to get your order in as Verene Petersen, Marketing Manager for Maserati in South Africa, commented: “We expect more demand than we can fulfill for this special edition, however, customers who receive the car can be certain to have a truly exclusive Maserati. It’s a pleasure to celebrate the centennial of Maserati with them in this extraordinary way.”
The Centennial Edition consists of highly configurable exterior and interior packages which include special paint, wheels, seats and tastefully placed centennial motives.
Power is still provided by the 4,7-litre, naturally-aspirated V8 engine delivering 338 kW at 7 000 r/min.
Pricing hasn’t been announced.
