One of the biggest criticisms of the current (W204) series C-class was its less than sumptuous interior treatment. Audi seemed to have Mercedes-Benz beaten hands down in this regard. But all of that is about to change.
Just yesterday we brought you a teaser video of the all-new (W205) C-class model, and now these official-looking images of the new C-class interior have surfaced. It seems that the final treatment is very close to that of the initial design concept, which is always a good start.
A raised cockpit-type feel has been created for both front occupants. Unlike the S-Class, which features a faired-in infotainment screen, the unit in the new C-class resembles that of the CLA models, albeit larger. The same trio of centre air vents have been borrowed from the CLA, too.
This, seemingly, high-spec model certainly looks the part so we can’t wait to get our hands on a test car. The new C-class is set to debut early in 2014.
