The executive super-saloon reached a whole new level with BMW’s brilliant M5 (which is due for replacement this year) a few years ago. Audi responded with the monstrously-powerful RS6 that absolutely blew us away, but that was soon overtaken by the über-incredible Jaguar XFR. Things at Mercedes-Benz has been relatively quiet, but now that all the rivals have revealed themselves, Stuttgart’s new E63 AMG is ready to challenge for the title.
