Mini has unveiled a pair of special edition models named after two of London’s Royal Parks: Hyde Park and Green Park. Available in hatchback and Clubman guises, these models usher in new exterior colour schemes and interior finishes.
The Hyde Park features a Pepper White paint scheme offset by Hot Chocolate accents on the roof, racing stripes and mirror caps. On the Clubman the C-pillar is finished in body colour. The Pepper White finish is echoed in the interior while the seat upholstery and optional Colour Line trim draw on the entire range available to the MINI and MINI Clubman. The seats are available in cloth/leather or Leather Gravity, while the optional Colour Line trim includes Carbon Black or Polar Beige finishes and the Mini Yours option brings in leather-lined facia top in a Black/Polar Beige combination.
The Green Park also features a Pepper White body (and C-pillar in the Clubman) colour, but the roof, racing stripes and exterior mirror caps are finished in British Racing Green. The interior treatment pretty much reflects that of the Hyde Park.
The local market will see these special edition models available in Cooper and Cooper Clubman guises, powered by a 1,6-litre petrol engine developing 90 kW, as well as Cooper S and Clubman S versions propelled by a turbocharged 1,6-litre engine with 135 kW on tap. Pricing will be announced closer to the launch in the last quarter of 2012.
