The second generation BMW X6 has been spotted undergoing final cold weather testing in the Arctic Circle ahead of its 2014 launch.
Expect the styling of the new X6 to be a mutation of the recently launched X5 and forthcoming X4 Concept in that, as with the original model, the glasshouse will feature a dramatically sloped roofline.
The new X6 will be launched in South Africa during the second half of 2014 and will almost certainly feature an (X5 mimicking) engine lineup including a 3,0-litre turbodiesel in two states of tune, a 3,0-litre turbopetrol and 4,4-litre V8 petrol with twin-turbo technology.
