We have found one of the first official pictures of the upcoming 2014 Honda Ballade, which has been launched today.
Called the Honda City in India, this picture shows what the Ballade will look like when it arrives in the second quarter of 2014 in South Africa.
Launched in India, the new Ballade features a very family-oriented front design. At this stage we have no further details, but the 1,5-litre four-cylinder engine is likely to remain the mainstream model locally.
However, as we have just experienced the 1,0-litre, three-cylinder turbo petrol engine and a 1,5-litre, four-cylinder VTEC turbo petrol in other Honda products in Japan, the use of these engines in the Ballade can’t be ruled out.
As is currently the case, the new range will probably also feature a manual gearbox and either a normal automatic transmission, or a CVT.
