Nissan South Africa has expanded the popular Qashqai range with the launch of its Limited Edition models. These models feature additional exterior detailing and upgraded specification. Prices start at R278 900.
The Limited Edition Qashqai model line-up comprises four variants and three engine options. The range kicks off with the 1,6 petrol and 1,5 dCi Acenta models, and is topped off with 1,5 dCi and 2,0 Acenta models fitted with panoramic glass roofs.
Among the model-specific exterior details are 18-inch diamond-cut black alloy wheels, gloss-black roof rails, gloss-black mirror caps and privacy glass. The interior highlights include seats upholstered in a cloth/leather combination with white stitching , as well as gloss black finishes for the door handles and gear lever.
Outputs and performance remain unchanged from those of the standard models. The 1,6-litre petrol engine delivers 81 kW at 6 00 r/min and 154 N.m of torque at 4 400 r/min. Nissan claims a combined fuel consumption of 7,1 litres/100 km for this model. The 2,0-litre petrol unit has power and torque outputs of 102 kW and 198 N.m, respectively, and a fuel consumption figure of 8,2 litres/100 km. The 1,5 dCi engine develops 78 kW at 4 000 r/min, while 240 N.m of torque is available from a low 2 000 r/min. The average fuel consumption for this model is a claimed 5,1 litres/100 km.
