The 2015 model year Chrysler 300C makes its first appearance at the Los Angeles Motor Show this week boasting plenty of enhancements to make it a more competitive product in the executive sedan segment.
The changes include a minor facelift, of which an enlarged front grille atop a new lower section of the front bumper that incorporates the front PDC sensor unit and integrated foglaps. The headlamps have also been redesigned, and are sleeker.
The 2015 300C is powered by either a 3,6-litre V6 with 218 kW and 352 N.m of torque (there’s also a 300 S that offers 6 kW and 5 N.m more), or a 5,7-litre Hemi V8 with 271 kW and 533 N.m of torque. All models send torque to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Underneath the metal, there’s also a new electric power steering system, updated adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and lane departure warning. Inside the cabin, Chrysler’s made use of more premium materials, while an 8,4-inch touchscreen forms part of the Uconnect infotainment system.
