Chevrolet Cruze Turbo
General Motors SA has just launched a turbopetrol engine in its Chevrolet Cruze range. The 1,4-litre motor delivers 103 kW and 200 N.m. This engine will be available in both the hatch and sedan derivatives and is exclusively mated with a six-speed manual transmission. Combined fuel economy is claimed at 5,8 litres/100 km which equates to CO2 emissions of 135g/km.
The Sedan will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 9,3 seconds and on to a top speed of 200 km/h.
All Chevrolet Cruze derivatives are sold inclusive of a 5-year/120 000 km warranty and a 3-year/60 000 km service plan.
