Images of what look very much like a production version of the next-gen Subaru WRX STi have been published on the web.
A Czech Republic website has leaked the images of the much-anticipated car due to be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next week. Subaru have already shown us the 200 kW WRX at the Los Angeles Auto Show last November and this more powerful variant is wearing add-ons indicating its larger output.
It’s painted in Subaru’s trademark World Rally Blue and has the appropriate big rear wing and golden alloys. Under the hood is likely to be a 2.5-litre turbo version of their four-cylinder boxer motor good for 224 kW and 393 Nm.
