A brace of images showing the 2013 face of Lexus’s flagship LS model have found their way onto the ‘web.
Although the car’s digital debut has officially been pegged for next Monday, it looks as though someone in the Lexus offices decided to, inadvertently or otherwise, jump-start proceedings by leaking a pair of images of the 2013 model year LS which have been swooped upon by Chinese motoring site xcar.com.cn via Club Lexus.
The images show what is probably the most extreme version of the company’s spindle grille treatment, giving the car something of a gaping maw up front. The rear lamp clusters appear to echo the design doled out to the rear-end of the new GS, but the flanks and overall proportions lean towards this model being more of a facelift than an all-new offering.
The pictured car; complete with sporty alloys, an aggressive-looking front apron and extended sills, is believed to be the LS460 F-Sport model and will probably be joined by the LS460 L (long wheelbase), the standard LS460 and LS600h hybrid.
We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information reagrding the is model next week.
