More photos of Opel's stylish Adam minicar have found their way onto the 'web ahead of its official unveiling at the Paris Motor Show.
The colourful quartet of pre-launch Adams were captured by a snapper from carpassion.it at what loooks like a possible promo shoot ahead of the Paris Motor Show. The pictures show such styling elements as an Astra GTC-style swage line and chromed horizontal grille garnish set against a body similar to that of Audi’s A1 – especially with that contrasting roof and pillar set-up shown on the lighter coloured models. In terms of overall length, the Adam is about 150 mm shorter than the 3 540 mm VW Up! – to put that into context, both cars are shorter than the Fiat 500.
The engine line-up has not yet been divulged, but it’s believed that four-cylinder units from the current Opel Corsa will initially feature, followed by three-cylinder engines co-developed with SAIC – the same firm responsible for the revival of the MG nameplate.
Three trim lines have been hinted at; the Adam Glam (an upmarket model), Adam Slam (a sports-oriented model) and possibly the Adam Jam – an EV model.
The Opel Adam will be officially unveiled at this year’s Paris Motor Show.
