Roll-Royce is trickle-feeding images of its upcoming Wraith coupé model ahead of its official unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The Rolls-Royce Wraith has been described by the company as a “hand-built motor car that exudes hallmark Rolls-Royce luxury and comfort whilst possessing a character defined by Power, Style and Drama.”
From what can be gathered from the latest image, the Wraith’s rear-end sports muscular haunches and a brace of sizeable, trapezoidal exhaust tips.
Seeing as Rolls is being particularly light on technical details, we have to glean what we can from the purple prose flowing forth from its press office regarding its outputs.
The firm has loosened its starched collar by changing the traditional Rolls-Royce response to queries regarding its vehicles power outputs from “Adequate, Sir” to a slightly more explicit, if still rather cryptic, “More than ample.”
This means that Roll-Royce’s most powerful model could be propelled by a BMW-sourced 6,6-litre twin-turbo V12 developing around 440 kW.
Rolls-Royce will dispense with the obscurities and reveal all at the Geneva Motor Show on 5 March 2013.
