Reports claim that seven-time Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher is breathing on his own. Until recently he was connected to a respirator that regulated this action.
This is a very significant step in the wake up process that the doctors have been busy with over the past couple of weeks.
The same reporter that wrote the article about Schumacher being off the respirator also mentioned in the article that Schumacher’s children have now returned to school. To stimulate Schumacher’s memory, friends such as Jean Todt and Ross Brawn are paying him regular visits, speaking in German and English as they did in Schumacher’s Formula One days.
During these visits, pit radio conversations are played as well as F1 engine sounds, all in the hope to stimulate his brain and memories. Apparently Schumacher’s face does sometimes change during these audio stimulations.
Michael Schumacher fell and hit his head during a skiing excursion shortly after Christmas.
