Chrysler SA has just announced the launch of a limited edition version of the fire-breathing Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 Alpine limited edition will be limited to a local run of just 95 units and adds a number of cosmetic enhancements to the standard SRT8 model.
Among the extras are a model-specific Bright White paint scheme, 20-inch alloy wheels featuring a Black Vapour Chrome finish as well as a number of trim elements finished in gloss black (Jeep badges up on the bonnet and front wings as well as the rear SRT8 decal, grille frame and inserts and the rear light bar and step pad)
The hardware under the hood remains untouched with power still provided by a 6,4-litre Hemi V8 churning out 344 kW and 644 N.m of torque.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 Alpine limited edition is available now and commands a retail price of R864 990.
