At the recent Geneva Motor Show, Toyota unveiled its new Aygo. Now, these images have leaked unto the Internet, illustrating that Toyota has used some of the Aygo’s design features for its upcoming new Yaris.
The most notable change is at the front where the grille dominates the nose section. On these Japanese documents it also seems that this market will get an “RS” model which will feature an even more aggressive bumper design with low-mounted fog lamps and larger wheels. At the rear this RS model will also feature a different bumper design and light construction while side sills give the car a lower stance.
The picture of the interior clearly shows the top-of-range model or the supposedly RS model. Note the red stitching on the seats, carpets and even on the thick-rimmed steering wheel. This Toyota Yaris model seems to be fitted with an automatic transmission though.
The fascia features a new design with an updated infotainment screen. Is that a red starter button on the right of the steering wheel?
We are eagerly awaiting any official details from Toyota.
