The nominees for the European Car of the Year has been announced. In total 33 cars have been nominated. Although there are cars that haven’t been launched yet, the regulations dictates that the cars simply need to be a new vehicle in the year of voting. That is why cars such as the new Audi TT and Smart ForTwo can be found on the list.
The list covers diverse segments of the markets, from sports cars, to SUVS, sedans and even compact city cars. On 15 December the short list of seven nominees will be announced, followed by the winner being announced on 2 March, 2015 – the day before the Geneva Motor Show opens it doors.
