We’re used to the folks over at ABT Sportsline doing their thing on already high-powered Audi Sport products (as well as sporty Volkswagen models). But this time, the German tuner has turned its attention to the Audi Q2, giving the little crossover more power and a menacing stance.
The latter comes courtesy of special ABT Suspension Springs, which lower the Q2 by some 40 mm, front and rear. In addition, ABT offers alloy wheels ranging in size from 18 to 20 inches, finished in either gun-metal grey or matte black.
And under the bonnet? Well, thanks to a little chip-tuning, the flagship 2,0 TFSI petrol engine (which isn’t offered here in South Africa) makes peak power of 168 kW and maximum torque of 360 N.m, up from the stock 140 kW and 320 N.m.
ABT furthermore offers a tuning package from the 2,0 TDI (also not available locally), which boosts its peak outputs from 140 kW/400 N.m to 158 kW/440 N.m.
