BMW South Africa has introduced MINI Next, an approved used car programme for its Mini brand.

BMW South Africa has introduced MINI Next, an approved used car programme for its Mini brand.

Much like its BMW Approved Used model, Mini Next is designed to offer prospective owners the ultimate in driver reassurance. All cars come with a full service history, mileage verification, a vehicle history check, Motorplan and BMW Group on Call emergency services.

Every vehicle has a minimum balance of one year or 25 000 km of Motorplan and customers are able to renew their Motorplans up to seven years or 200 000 km.

Mini Motorplan includes all required maintenance and repair work, all repairs and costs of parts from normal wear and tear, and all oils, brake fluids and other lubricants replaced during a service. Only qualified technicians using advanced technologies and genuine Mini parts attend to vehicles.

“The programme ensures a globally consistent positioning of the Mini used car business at all of its dealerships around the world,” said Pavla Benguric, manager of BMW South Africa’s MINI Next programme.

“The enduring quality of a Mini Next vehicle is that it is guaranteed by a comprehensive series of checks. From the engine to the battery and shock absorbers, the reconditioning and preparation commitment brings your vehicle as close to new as possible,” said Benguric.

Mini Accident Management is also included with every vehicle purchase for a “managed response to an “accidental vehicle immobilisation”. Its accident management provision includes the services of an approved repair centre and overall co-ordination by the BMW Group customer contact centre.

“Staffed by experienced operators, the BMW Group On Call emergency service provides a host of benefits including 24-hour roadside assistance, tow-in service to the nearest Mini dealer should the vehicle be immobilised by breakdown or accident, accommodation, car hire or transport to an alternative location and emergency medical assistance.

Prospective Mini Next customers are also offered guaranteed trade-ins of their current vehicles when purchasing their vehicles.
