Production of McLaren’s P1 hybrid hypercar may have stopped at the end of last year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t buy one with virtually no mileage.
Since just 375 of these cars were produced, each example is now worth quite some more than what the original owners paid. And while most of these cars end up in collections with few driven kilometres on them, they rarely pop up for sale.
Except this one. With no reason given, McLaren specialist Alistair Bols has announced the sale of a P1 with just five kilometres on the clock, indicating that the car has not been driven since delivery.
The McLaren P1 in question, chassis number 97, is painted “Volcano Yellow” and features black leather upholstery with “Cadmium Yellow” stitching. Located in the United Kingdom, the car hasn’t even been registered yet.
The seller hasn’t revealed the asking price, but whoever ends up purchasing this McLaren will no doubt revel in the feeling of driving the hypercar on the road for the first time. And that has to be something special.
