The unnamed man arrested for stealing seven-time world F1 champ Michael Schumacher’s medical records has been found dead in a Swiss jail cell. The man, a manager at Swiss air rescue firm Rega, had allegedly hung himself.
He had been arrested on Tuesday, but denied stealing Schumacher’s medical records that were subsequently offered for sale to several newspapers.
Rega was the helicopter ambulance service that flew the ex-F1 champion to a Swiss hospital in June after he had suffered a head injury in a skiing accident in France six months earlier.
