The countdown to the 2017 World Car Awards continued at the Geneva Motor Show this week, where the top three finalists in each of the six award categories were announced.
The overall winners in each category will be revealed at the New York International Auto Show in mid-April.
A jury of 75 international automotive journalists from 23 countries selected the following finalists (whittled down from the shortlist revealed last month) by secret ballot, based on their respective evaluations of each candidate.
