The latest Ford Focus RS isn’t exactly slow (read our first impressions here). But the folks over at Mountune apparently believe it could do with a little more excitement.
The Essex-based firm has released limited details of its new phase one tuning kit for the all-wheel drive hot hatch, opting not to disclose performance figures just yet (for the record, the “standard” RS weighs in with 257 kW and 440 N.m from its 2,3-litre EcoBoost mill, plus an extra 30 N.m on overboost).
Phase One parts available include a Quaife differential, a quick-shift kit, a new silicone boost hose, a high-flow induction hose, a high-flow air filter, a roll restrictor, and OZ Leggera alloys.
The tuner has released a short video showing some of the parts being fitted to the Focus RS. Oh, and look out for the launch shot at the very end of the clip.
