The images you see above were filed to the European Union Intellectual Property Office in August last year by Ferrari S.p.A. All we know about this mysterious at this point is that it was styled by the company’s head of design, Flavio Manzoni.
The proportions seem quite similar to the LaFerrari which is why some might assume that this could be a one-off variation of the hypercar. The styling, however draws a clear difference between it and the LaFerrari, most noticeably by the LED head- and taillamps.
This new design also possesses a more prominent air intake system in the front and diffuser at the rear. Stacked tailpipes are also found at the edges as opposed to the traditional quadpipes found at the rear of the LaFerrari. The dramatic sense of styling leads us to believe that this could be an exaggerated version of the LaFerrari.
Ferrari’s 70th anniversary is coming up this September so it’s very possible that what we’re looking at is a tribute to that milestone. With that being said, we’d only find out more about this model closer to that time…
