Jeep has revealed the first official images of its facelifted Cherokee, which will debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January 2018.
The single-paragraph press release that accompanied the four images promises that the updated Cherokee will gain a “new, authentic and more premium design”, along with “even more fuel-efficient powertrain options”.
The images show that the refreshed version of the fifth-generation Cherokee will adopt Jeep’s latest family face, ditching the outgoing model’s controversial separate lighting elements up front in favour of more traditional combined units. Round back, you’ll also notice a minor redesign, along with the adoption of new tail-lamps.
We’ll learn more about the updated powertrain options once the vehicle makes its official bow in Detroit.
