Kia Motors has released three sketches of its new, third-generation Cerato sedan, which is due to be fully revealed at the upcoming North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The Korean automaker says its compact sedan (known as the Forte sedan in some markets, including North America) has gained a “more sophisticated appearance” thanks to a number of fresh styling cues “inspired by the Stinger fastback”.
The first sketch shows deep creases in the bonnet and the latest interpretation of Kia’s now-signature front grille, while the sketch of the rear reveals separate reverse and indicator lights located below the taillamps (themselves connected by a horizontal strip).
Meanwhile, the cabin appears to take on a clean design with few buttons (and a large screen in the centre), with Kia saying the spoked circular air vents are similar to those found in the Stinger.
