Earlier this month, Lexus released the first teaser image of its upcoming LF-1 Limitless concept (revealing part of its rear end), which essentially previews a fresh flagship crossover. And now Toyota’s luxury arm has revealed a second teaser, this time showing off the car’s striking front lighting signature.
Set to be fully revealed at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January 2018, the Lexus LF-1 Limitless was styled by the CALTY design studio in Southern California.
The latest teaser provides us with a glimpse of the LF-1 Limitless concept’s angular lighting elements up front, and reveals that the show car will feature a Lexus badge with blue backlighting.
The Japanese automaker earlier said that its new concept “reflects the next genre in luxury crossover vehicles”, adding that it “redefines the boundaries of luxury”.
Of course, the brand’s current SUV flagship is the LX, which shares much with the Toyota Land Cruiser and has been around in third-generation J200 guise since 2007. It has yet to be confirmed whether a possible production version of the LF-1 Limitless would replace or supplement the LX.
