Many of us consider our cars to be prized possessions, but this guy has taken it to the next level…
Randall Halil from Orlando, Florida, decided to keep his E30 BMW M3 inside his living room in order to protect it from Hurricane Matthew.
The hurricane begun its trail of destruction over the southeastern part of the United States about two weeks ago. Many citizens were prepared, but few more than Halil.
The 26-year-old was unwilling to fork out exorbitant amounts of money to stash his M3 in a storage facility, so he decided that the best move was to park it in his living room, squeezing it through a set of double-doors.
The car spent the past few days sandwiched between his sofa and a wall and, although it doesn’t really belong there, we have to admit that it does make for a nice centrepiece.
It has since been reported that Halil’s house did not suffer any damage from the hurricane, but it doesn’t hurt to be prepared.
Recent images from his Instagram account show that the M3 is safe and sound, and back in its usual spot at the front of his house…
