Set to be unveiled on 19 August, Stuttgart has released more teaser images of their BMW M4-challenging Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe.
It’s still wrapped in camouflage but we’re now seeing more detailed shots of the car’s S-Class Coupe-inspired rear styling. Clearly very close to production-spec, it’s wide and curvy and sports very visible flared arches, rear spoiler, larger brakes and quad-exhausts. The coop will also will come with 255/35 ZR19 front rubber, as opposed to the 245/35 R19 on the C63 Sedan.
Engine-wise it will have the same power unit as the C63 sedan – in other words a twin-turbo 4,0-ltre V8 that puts out 350 kW/650 N.m in the standard car and 375 kW/700 N.m in the S variant. The 0-100 km/h should be be ticked off in a shade under 4 seconds.
Its thought that Stuttgart’s whitecoats have made a few under-the-skin changes to lower the coop’s centre of gravity, along with a retuned suspension, and revised steering.
