The twin-turbo 4,0-litre V8 powering the Mercedes-AMG C63 S sedan is no slouch in standard tune, sending a considerable 375 kW and 700 N.m to the rear wheels. But the tuners over at G-Power clearly believe that you can never have enough power. Yes, the German firm has cranked up the grunt … and, of course, added a set of custom wheels, too.
With the G-Power performance module fitted to the engine, the C63 S delivers 441 kW and 800 N.m of torque, which results in a claimed 0-100 km/h time of 3,8 seconds and a top speed of 300 km/h.
If you’re keen for an enhanced soundtrack to match the added speed, G-Power says it also offers a stainless steel sports exhaust system.
As for the visuals, the C63 S has been handed a set of 20-inch forged alloy Hurricane RR wheels. G-Power claims that these lighter wheels furthermore serve to improve the car’s handling.
If all that extra oomph isn’t quite enough for you, take note that the tuning firm is currently tweaking engine components (and the turbochargers) with an eye on hiking the peak power figure to 588 kW. Look out for more on that in the future…
