The challenge is on… Rainer Zietlow and his crew have begun their attempt to set a world record for driving from Cape Agulhas to Noodkapp in Norway in the quickest time (more details about the attempt here).
The Touareg and the Team left Cape Agulhas at 10 o’clock this morning and they are heading north now, facing more than 19 000km until they reach their destination, in northern Norway. Everyone is happy and excited that the day has come, after long months of preparation.
At time of writing they’ve been underway for a little over five hours and they have passed Beaufort West and closing in on Three Sisters.
