Ever wanted to travel back in time and purchase one of your favourite classics brand new? Well, if that classic happens to be a 1985 Porsche 911 3,2 Carrera, here’s your chance.
Yes, Hexagon Modern Classics in the United Kingdom is offering “one of the lowest mileage Porsche 911 3,2 Carreras in the world”, which has covered just 4 429 miles (7 128 km) in its 31 years of life.
The left-hand-drive Carrera has been stored in a garage since new and is presented in “almost as-new condition”. It boasts a 3,2-litre flat-six engine linked to Porsche’s 915 five-speed manual gearbox.
The classic car specialist describes the vehicle’s metallic Garnet Red paintwork as “flawless” and the black leather interior as “pristine”. And, judging by the photographs, they’re probably not far off.
The cabin features air-conditioning, electric windows, an electric sunroof and cruise control, as well as a Blaupunkt Tucson Cassette/Radio, complete with 60 watt amplifier and graphic equaliser.
A full service invoice history, as well as the original handbook, jack and toolkit, are also included.
The price? Some £84 995, which translates to just short of R1,6-million…
