Although we might be a little far removed from the hypercar manufacturer that is Koenigsegg, some of their models have found their way to fortunate owners in South Africa.
A few months ago the company, headed up by visionary Christian von Koenigsegg, released its most powerful car to date, called the One:1. However, one of its more mainstream models (if you can call it that) is the Agera R. This model uses of a 5,0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine delivering 838 kW and 1 200 N.m. The company claims a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 2,8 seconds and a 0-200 km/h time of 7,8 seconds.
These pictures show would could be a new model, based on the Agera R. The car was captured at the Nürburgring undergoing testing. Apart from testing, it goes without saying that Koenigsegg is also investigating where the Agera R fits in compared to the ‘Ring time of cars such as Porsche’s 918 (6:57 seconds) and McLaren’s P1 (allegedly, an 6:47 seconds time).
