The Volkswagen Scirocco turns heads in its standard form. But a Chinese tuning house called Aspec has decided to give the vehicle a bit more of an edge anyway.
In terms of visuals, the difference is pretty obvious. The widebody kit adds up to 70 mm, with Aspec claiming that it draws inspiration from the China Touring Car Championship racecars.
The imposing diffuser and over-the-top rear wing apparently provide some sort of downforce, while the aggressive look is completed by a set of massive quadpipes.
Aspec says the kit can be fashioned from carbon-fibre or fibreglass, depending on the customer’s requirements, and is available for both pre-and post-facelift models.
If you want extra performance with the looks, Aspec reckons (without going into any sort of detail) it can also tune the Scirocco to 321 kW, a hefty figure for a front-wheel drive car.
