There’s a new Audi Q5 on the way, and the German automaker has released a teaser image and short video ahead of the compact SUV’s debut at the Paris Motor Show.
The teaser image reveals the second-generation model’s taillamp design, while the video virtually confirms that the new Q5’s infotainment system will offer both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality.
The new model will run on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB platform, which will reportedly see it shed more than 100 kg. Its main rivals, of course, will include the BMW X3 and the Mercedes-Benz GLC. And, interestingly, it will be built in Mexico.
The new Audi Q5 will make its official bow on 29 September in Paris, where the Ingolstadt automaker will reveal more on engine options and standard specification. Watch the teaser video below…
