BMW’s high-end luxury liner 7 Series has been given the M sport treatment with the help of a new V12 engine, all-wheel drivetrain and extended wheelbase for those who wish to travel in luxury and get to their destination on time. This high performance variant will be the range topping 7 Series and shall be labelled the M760Li.
Powering the M760Li will be BMW’s new 6,6-litre twin-turbo V12 engine which will deliver 441 kW and 800 N.m of torque through all four wheels with the help of the xDrive system and an eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission. With this combination expect the M760Li to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3,9 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. This ambiance of performance is aided by a new M sports exhaust system with flap controls to accentuate the roaring V12.
To keep the large M760Li as dynamic as possible BMW has implemented an active roll stabilisation which minimises body movements. The system teams up with a set of performance tyres fitted to the 20-inch M light-alloy wheels. The xDrive system will also be rear biased to balance out the front biased weight distribution created by the heavier powertrain.
The cabin of the M760Li has also seen the application of a dynamic interior with the help of an exclusive M leather steering wheel with Pearl Gloss Chrome multifunction buttons, door sill plates with an illuminated V12 logo, an exclusive speedometer featuring the M760Li badge and a dial that has been extended to 330 km/h and loads of M Power badges.
For those who would prefer a sleeper the M760Li is available in the Excellence package which removes anything indicating that it is a performance car at no extra charge.
