According to Hyundai, they have gone for the comfort route on their new i20, rather than for sharp and dynamic handling. Strange, especially looking at the sporty and purposeful look of the new i20 Coupe.
The A-pillars are steeper, whilst the top seems smaller; sleeker. A neat design trick is the black line above the rear lights to visually separate the roof from the body.
Though mechanically the car is left unchanged, it boasts a new front bumper, a different grille, as well as a new rear spoiler. New 17-inch rims are also on offer. Expected later in 2015, is a 1,0-litre turbocharged petrol engine.
No word yet as to when the i20 Coupe will reach our shores.
