Earlier this year, Lexus revealed the swoopy LC 500 coupe, which is set to provide a more exhilarating experience for those who find the current RC coupe a bit bland.
The LC 500 is set to go on sale early next year. Along with this, the coupe will also be entered in the 2017 Super GT 500 season to compete against the likes of the Nissan GT-R and Honda NSX-GT.
While the LC 500 possesses plenty of smooth lines in its futuristic design, the Super GT variant is a lot more jagged and aggressive thanks to its widened body and massive aerokit.
The LC 500 will be replacing the successful RC F in this series while making use of a turbocharged 2,0-litre engine delivering power to the rear wheels through a six-speed sequential transmission.
The production model, meanwhile, will be available with a 348 kW 5,0-litre V8 or a 246 kW 3,5-litre V6 hybrid.
